Formwork...Plumbing...

Carving a path for pipes....

Here the plumbing contractor is carving a path for the pipes and conduits to be routed to other parts of the building..

Making Connections...

Once the slab is in...these will never be seen again...until we take the building down 40 years from know.

Vertical Shear wall steel.

The vertical and horizontal reinforcement bars are being placed...the formwork for the concrete is being assembled just the right.

After a short test...out comes the 1918 pipe
Here the plumbing contractor removes the old 1918 steam pipe that provided heat to the old Casa Nueva.

Elevator Formwork Assemble...

The carpenter's assemble the elevator form work...getting ready to make the last pour before the slab goes in..

Making Room For The Pipes

Here the plumbing contractor carves out the grade to make room for pipes.

Sleeves in the Footings...

There are many locations where sleeves were placed so plumbing pipes could be installed after the footings set.

Pipe Trenching....
At the bottom of this picture you can see the grey conduits that need to be routed across the building...the plumber is doing that know with the backhoe.
