Steel Columns Arrive, Concrete Slab in, and
Next Retaining Wall Continues...

 

Hold-Out for steel column

Heavy side flange provide lateral connection for earthquake and wind force transfer to the concrete footings.

 

 


Steel Columns lined up and ready to go in the building...

 Restroom slab-hold-out. This is done to allow the tile floor to slop
toward floor drains (one is toward the bottom of this photo)


Under floor conduit is painted for better visibility by other trades.
