Steel prep work...

Two actions are executed on these cross beams...one certain cross beams, the top and bottom flanges are removed to allow the beam to fit the adjacent beam....then anchor bolt studs are "arc-welded" at regular intervals for the floor or roof deck attachment. In the picture to the right above, you can see the burst of the arc as the stud is attached. We will hear more about the steel workers next week.

Steel worker prepares bolting stud on steel cross beams. Each bolt stud is "arc-welded" to the steel flange.

Our mountain continues to move...one loader scoop at a time.
